" Finding jobs in the media industry as a media student is hard especially when you haven't made a name for yourself and when you haven't really got a huge and engaging following. I for one would love to go into the radio and television space and there are limited opportunities. Not only that but we are to compete with personalities that have experience in the industry and who are considered professional. "

Michelle Cooper

" Being a media student has enabled me to think out of the box so that I can stand out from everyone else.
The pressure of being a media student is tough, people expect you to know everything that's happening in the world, they expect to be active in media and that is the most difficult part for me.
Media has shown me that things aren't as easy as they look, so much hard work, dedication and effort goes into media industry that gets over looked.
However I love what I'm learning, what I'll be doing in the future and that's journalism. "
